| Pacific Rim Optical designs and manufactures
precision optics and sub-assemblies for the telecommunication, semiconductor, biomedical, defense and commercial
industries.
Our manufacturing capabilities for precision optics include: ground and polished, diamond
turned, molded glass or other substrate, and plastic. Some of the optical components we manufacture are listed
below. All can be manufactured with any of the processes listed above. |

| Optical components: aspheric
lens, singlet, doublet, triplet, meniscus, convex, concave, beam splitters, cube beam splitters, x-cubes, prisms
(all types), ball lenses, convex rod lenses, cylinder lenses and mirrors (all types, including parabolic). Lens
sizes range from micro-lenses to larger than 6 inches in diameter. |

| Multi-element lenses: zoom
lenses, telecentric lenses, CCD, CCTV, scopes, microscope elements and eye pieces, telephoto lenses. Our
multi-element lenses can be ground and polished, diamond turned, molded or made of plastic. Elements can
range from simple lenses to complex aspheric lenses. |

| Coatings: we
have more than 30 coating chambers and nine large, multi-layer chambers, most equipped with ion-assist guns.
We do some of the most difficult types of coatings, including polarization and narrow band notch filters. We
have six automated cleaning stations, and we use spectrophotometers to guarantee coating performance. |
|

|
| We are an ISO 9001
and 9002 Certified Supplier, so quality is our first priority.
Our U.S. staff includes optical design
engineers, opto-mechanical engineers, physicists and electrical engineers, with supporting staff. Our product
development engineers all have more than 20 years of experience.
With U.S. design and quality facilities,
our customers have the best of both worlds. Customers talk to English-speaking engineers about their optical needs,
and can have final quality inspections done here in the U.S. At the same time, with the optics world becoming
much more competitive, our customers benefit from direct pricing from our Asian factories.
Our factories
serve well-known customers within the optics world, including Tyco, 3M, Coherent, Lightpath, BE Meyer and Nikon,
to name a very few.
